    3. Eobert --- Write to the NYC and ask for the address of their Archives. Or visit their website I'm certain they have one) and see if there is a link to the Archives. Then you want to write to the Archives giving them all the info on his naturalization (Full name, DOB, POB, Court that granted naturalization (most important) and date. You will not be able to get the originals, they're long gone. After microfilming the documents were usually destroyed. -- Cheers, Jim Gordon, Laurel, MD USA Robert Gordon wrote: > > Ihave found my great grandfathers citizenship papers. The papers say he was granted citizenship in the county of New York in the state of newyork > which would be nyc. My question is where would I get the original application and court documents regarding his citizenship. Who would I contact. Also I read on roots web that there is a book out there regarding the Gordons in Ireland . If anyone has that info I would appreciate help Locating that book. Sincerely Yours , > Robert Gordon
