Sheila, I'm trying to substantiate my Ggrandmother's lines. I just received yesterday the book Gordons of the Deep South by Erminie Northcutt Marshall but did not find any listing for her. We have her name as Sarah Jane Elizabeth Gordon, born November 29, 1853, died November 11, 1893, around Calhoun Co. MS. Another Gordon researcher provided information on a Wade H. Gordon, b. 1825 AL (a POW at Vicksburg, 43rd Infantry, Company G MS) married to Nancy ?. Wade's parents were Isaac T. Gordon and Rebecca Arnold. None of these names appeared in Erminie's book. Do you -- or anyone else -- know of Sara Jane Elizabeth Gordon above? Thanks for any help.
