I have a William J. Gordon born in 1855 in Morewood, Ontario. Perhaps this is your William John Gordon, or his father. His parents were Andrew Gordon, born in Ireland in 1803 and Catherine Faulkner, born in Ireland in 1826. They emegrated to Ontario in 1850. Andrew died on 23 Nov 1883. Their children were: Christina, born in Ireland in 1850 Mary Jane, born in Ontario in 1851 Margaret Anne, born in Ontario in 1853 (my great-grandmother) William J., born in Ontario in 1855 Ogle(?), born in Ontario in 1859 Catherine, born in Ontario in 1861 Edith, born in Ontario in 1867 If anyone has information about Andrew Gordon, I would appreciate receiving it.
