Hello Hurston. I have just a few minutes, will get back to you next week. Ermine's book on the Gordons was published in 1961 in Austin, TX by the Steck Co. I understand they are out of business(so I was told). A cousin told me that she had contacted a company that sells genealogy books, sorry I don't remember the name ,and she was told that they could make a copy of the book for her for one hundred and forty-eight dollars!!!! That was at least ten or twelve years ago. I don't have any data on John and Ruth before 1734 and no info on Ruth's maiden name. Did you know that Ruth married Abraham Anderson after John died? He had a bunch of kids and I couldn't helo but wonder about your Uriah Anderson. Wonder if there is a connection. Must run, will write more later. God bless, Sheila
