    1. A strange email from a Gordon
    2. Hello Gordons I got a private email that was titled "clan Gordon" The email had nothing written in it, just a hyperlink for "clan Gordon" and it was signed "ed gordon" The email addy was EdyeNo1@aol.com I am hesitant to check out this link as I have no idea who this man is or if this is a legitimate link or an AOL password stealer or what. Did anyone else receive this and it is legitimate? Or is this person on this mailing list? I value my computer too much to risk it on the unknown like this. Jo Hogle

    3. There are people subscribed to these mail lists who use the list to compile addresses for lists of their own. The e-mail may be "legitimate", however, whenever in doubt don't open any attachments or click on any hyperlink and delete it immediately from your system by emptying any trash that your program may have for deleted items. In addition, be sure that you have an anti-virus program installed on your system, run it daily and update it regularly and religiously. Better to be safe than sorry.
