    3. I haven't a clue as to who John Gordon's parents or siblings were. He probably didn't come to America alone. Of course, he could have been born in Maryland. The family was on the Frederick Co., Maryland Census of 1860. One of John's daughter, Agnes, married a David Somerset Wolf of Frederick Co., Maryland in the Methodist Church there in 1853.
