As Dana Edgecomb has posted, their parents were Lewis and Sarah (Small) Gordon. Our family still lives on the farm in Lyman. There's a photo of Sarah Small in the Marian Otis book, the only one I've ever seen. How do you descend from Albert F.? This is a well documented line, traced back to Alexander, born in Morayshire Scotland about 1630. Many stories of the early Maine Gordons are told in Folsom's History of Biddeford and Saco. The Marian Otis book Dana mentioned is wonderful, a must have for researchers of this line. welcome to the family! Lewis was b. Lyman, Maine March 16, 1813, d. Dec 22, 1878. M. Sarah Small born Augusta, Maine 1816, d. 1897, both buried on the farm where they lived in Lyman.
