    3. Good afternoon all, One thing to be cognizant of with this site is that it returns 'generic' surnames in the 'Living People' category, rather than the specific one you wanted to search on. For instance, my project is MURDUCK, and I entered that spelling into the surname search box. The database returned 333 instances of names flagged as MURDUCK, in the 'Living People' category, but closer inspection shows that they were, for the most part, MURDOCK. It would take hours of work just to review each 'hit', discard the MURDOCK examples, and keep the very few MURDUCK examples. I see no way to qualify the surname search to 'exact' spellings, unless I'm missing something. At least most of the 'Census', 'Birth', 'Death', and other categories returned true instances of MURDUCK records.
