I would suggest if you have a team, who all use a Family History software package and can produce GEDCOM files, you take a serious look at TNG, it will allow you to let your team have their own tree and upload their own work. This gets rid of the situation where you are constantly trying to keep your own software package up to date with what they have found. So you can put all the Hartwell's under the one umbrella web site. If you want your own domain and hosting package and want recommendations, you will get lots of advice on this Forum Paul 2627 Featherstone's World wide. <http://www.featherstone.org> On 12/11/2014 14:39, Neil Hartwell via wrote: > Hello out there > > I've recently signed up to the Guild, and I've collected a lot of data > (via Ancestry.co.uk) over the past 10 years on UK folk with the surname > Hartwell > > (My colleagues in the USA are even better organised) > > I'd like some ideas on how best to turn this into something of use to > other researchers. > > I'm not particularly keen on retyping details for hundreds of Hartwells > from GED into html > > Ideas and suggestions are welcomed / and any details of notable > Hartwells you may have encountered. > > Regards > > Neil
