    3. Yes of course and this would be a way of salvaging something longer lasting than the index. I haven't done anything with these for ages, my enthusiasm in the beginning triggered RSI. Also the realisation that this isn't a good way to index as inevitably Medway Council will change their website structure and break the links and what will remain isn't a full transcription.     3. I have delved into the Dorset parish records that are online thanks to the Dorset online parish clerks (found at www.opcdorset.org). There is a list of the various parishes, not all have been transcribed though. I wanted Wimborne Minster and only marriages 1839-1850 are. I found it really useful when looking for my great grandfather's family. I also found something similar for Staplehurst in Kent once but now can't find it. Was useful for looking for paternal grandmother's Kent family. Now to find the other elusive lot!
