I'm guessing a bit here, but this is my interpretation of the records: John Pascall was imprisoned from 11 Feb 1809, for debts to Robert Fenner who had him 'Com'd' (committed) on 24 Jan 1809, for a debt of '£12 & upwards' and also Joseph Giles who had joined the detainer on 1 Feb 1809 for a debt of '£23 & upwards'. He 'Dd' (discharged) his debts on 27 Jul 1809, covering all sums due from before 1 Feb. The other record shows that he was detained at the suit ('ats') of Joseph Giles and released on 5 Aug 1809 by judges order dated 3 Aug. The Ancestry guidance says the date of discharge is the key to finding him in other record series, but it doesn't say how or which series!
