Richard As best as I can make out James Stooke Bachelor gentleman of full age of St Leonards, father James Howard Stooke a Road Surveyor married Louisa Maude Hill a Spinster of full age of St Leonards, father John Day Hill a Bootmaker on 12 August 1884 at St Leonards, Exeter by Licence. The witnesses were John Day Hill and Robert Plimsole. FreeBMD has him as James Stooke Howard.
