    3. Yes indeed. With the right Gedcom (and if you're on Windows), it's brilliant for showing up what info you're missing about a person. The LostCousins forum is (well, was) the place to be for helping with development, but the author is now having to work for his living and further developments will have to wait until his workload eases. On one of the forms, surnames which are registered with the Guild are linked so you can click through to the profile page. It's also well linked to LostCousins if you've set LostCousins facts in your FH programme. No connection - just a user who found it very helpful for my own trees. https://ftanalyzer.codeplex.com/ Seasons Greetings to all, Andy.

    3. This sounds very interesting. I use Legacy (full version) and the search function does produce some lists that can help with analysis, and it will throw up some errors as well, but I'm particularly interested in the "families" report as I have a lot of difficulty keeping track of who I have linked in wider family groups. 3. Has some interesting features but be aware there is at least one oddity - both my ONS and my wife's family have ancestry from Somerset and way back I decided to use Chapman codes in my original use of FTM and this has continued in FH. Unfortunately Family Tree Analyzer(FTA) appears to use ISO 3-alpha country coding so all of my SOM labelled records are listed in FTA as Somalia (shades of Ancestry and the 1891 census some years back). On quick inspection this looks like the only Chapman code which will be substituted but be on the lookout! Chris Broomfield Broomfield, Bromfield & Brumfield One Name Study
