Does anyone have access to the Henbury St Mary Parish Registers? Or to the familysearch films of the same? ( or could point me to original images online somewhere). I have come across a christening record in FamilySearch.org for Rowena Fanny Ffarington Sinnott, that is transcribed as happening in 1873, however I believe this was an adult christening of a person of the same name born in about 1873 some time after her marriage in 1909. Rowena Fanny Ffarington Sinnott England, Bristol Parish Registers Name:Rowena Fanny Ffarington Sinnott Event Type:Christening Event Date:1873 Event Place:Henbury, St Mary, Gloucestershire, England Gender:Female Digital Folder Number: 004206808 , Image Number: 00035 This is a very uncommon set of given names, and the only Rowena Fanny Ffarington I have was actually born in about 1873 but with the surname Sampson-Way and married George Hall Sinnott in 1909 (so couldn't have been christened as Sinnott at that date). I have also come across another transcription error with the same folder and image references where George Hall Sinnott's burial is transcribed as both 1923 and 1938, when only the 1938 date is correct. I'm therefore thinking the transcriber of this image was having a very bad day with getting dates in the right columns, and what has happened is that this is an adult baptism some time after her marriage, and her birth year has been wrongly placed in the christening date column. There isn't any hurry to check this, but it would be useful to rule out the possibility that this christening is actually a hitherto unknown daughter of Rowena F F and George Hall Sinnott.
