Thanks I found only one Yare, but John came from Scotland (where I believe the name may have originated) to the East Ward of Westmorland, where the name was concentrated until the 19th century. This John Yare is earlier than any others in my study, and I will have trouble connecting him in, but is possibly the ancestor of all the Yares that I have.
