Fiona Thanks for setting the record straight. Ireland is actually different because you don't have county groups as we do in England. In fact looking at the list I see that Scotland and Wales are divided into just a few big groups: http://www.one-name.org/members/reps.html At the other extreme we have three regional reps for the English county of Yorkshire! I would guess that the system has evolved on a somewhat ad hoc basis over the years.
