Susan Anne clarified that the system has now changed and the data is being drawn from the study codes. I think it's probably a question of sending out regular reminders to members, perhaps via the journal or in the chairman's newsflashes. No list is ever going to be 100% accurate but an inaccurate list is better than no list at all. At the moment we seem to have no record of the other 180 Guild DNA projects that you've identified. Perhaps you could share your list in the DNA section of the Members' Room or make it available as a Google Docs spreadsheet and then we could all help to update it. There are many occasions when we can help to promote members' DNA projects either at local family history fairs or when writing articles or giving interviews. However, it's a missed opportunity if we don't have a list of projects we can promote. You should be able to get automated e-mails whenever a member resigns from the Guild. Anne Shankland set up a system so that I get automatic e-mails whenever someone's membership ceases so that I can remove them from the Guild's Facebook group as that is a members' only benefit. I believe other postholders get similar notifications. Best wishes Debbie
