Registration for a British Library reader's pass can now be completed in person at their additional Reading Room at Boston Spa in Yorkshire which has recently been refurbished: http://www.bl.uk/aboutus/quickinfo/loc/bsp/ There is a roll out of increased access to material at this mid-country site including non-digitised or microfilmed hard copy newspapers. The later stored in Yorkshire following the closure of Colindale. Anyone considering visiting do please check with their Customer Services if the material you want is accessible before travelling.
