    3. Hi, I've had a look on FreeBMD 1900 to 1911 without success, including that Fred could be Alfred or Fred a second name and looking for a Mary Dak*/Dac*. All I can think of is that Dacre/Daker could be her maiden surname but that she married and was widowed by the time she married Fred. Do you have her on 1901 census as Daker/Dacre, single and 1911 as Jennings with Fred, married? Looking at the spelling of Daker there may have only been one or two 'Mary's during my search period, more 'Mary' Dakers. Mary Dacre is more frequent. From Merryl Wells of Luton, Beds. 3. Hi Merryl Thanks for your input, I failed to mention Fred & Mary Ann appear on the 1911 census at 11 Barkers Buildings, Bottom Boat, Stanley WRY and their ages indicate the are contempories (is that the right word?) husband and wife NOT mother & Son. Searched for her in 1901 and 1881 & 1891 both in Stanley & at Easingwold, where there certainly were DAKERs in the area, without success, and I did visit Easingwold to some distant relation with my wife & her late mother in the early years in my marriage.
