Good question! Two suggestions: 1. There should be a 'pg 1 of 23' or similar button at the bottom of the screen. If not, click on the arrow on the far right of the screen and it usually comes up. click along to pg 20 or so and start looking from there as the pages don't tally exactly 2. The top of the screen should show a 4 letter code (hopefully - this is sometimes omitted in the photographing process) Go back to the advanced search page and put this in 'piece number', the put '020' in 'item number' and start looking around there. If its shows no returns, the try '021' item number and so on. Jean As has been suggested navigate to the end of that group of pages. In Pirbright all the entries were either spelling mistakes or one of a household who wasn't in the original entry. Rosa E Burren b 1884 is on one such page, she is also also down as Rosa E Burrows but checking FreeBMD she was Burren. It also explained why some wives appeared to be living apart from husband when 1939 Register 1st came out. They must have been away from home and added later with the correct address but their reference is different to their husbands.
