Hi John, I was thinking that as well. Maybe James was a travelling man/gypsy who used many surnames, just happened to die in Wrexham and the authorities had to ask if anyone knew his name and someone said it could be Doogood. Better than burying an unknown body. Maybe there was a Police appeal in a local newspaper for knowledge of him. Perhaps the cemetery itself has more information but better to get someone to visit with the grave number or telephone it's Superintendant? From Merryl Wells of Luton, Beds.
