After so many years of searching for my grandparents marriage record I have finally found it!! Mabel and Arthur Goodrich were married in Battle Creek while he was stationed at Fort Custer!!! A very nice gentlemen at the library sent me a copy of the record. Arthur was a soldier and Mabel was working as a pastry cook! I just wish I could find out where she was working and what she was doing in Battle Creek when her family was in Breedsville/Bloomingdale area.
