I guessed that Luther was his father based on a family tree I had found on rootsweb that listed a son "James J." However, everyone in that family was born in Connecticut and James Jasper in Georgia. My grandmother knew that his family was from Connecticut though, and was surprised I'd had trouble tracking him. My email is my username here at yahoo.
