Bertha Dale was his grandmother. I was trying to connect Ariel with my Goodrich lateral lines in Sharon, CT. Perhaps you are connected with Ariel. At least 2 of my Lloyds married Goodriches in Sharon in late 1700's. RW soldier James lloyd married Lucy Goodrich there. I'm not sure if you want to go back or forward on this line.
