The catalog seems to be working OK and I haven't heard of anybody else having a problem. It's a "pdf" file - you need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is probably installed on your pc but if not can be acquired for free from adobe.com. If you're trying to open the pdf from your browser, maybe you're missing a plug-in. Try downloading the file instead of opening it (right click, and select "save as"....).
