I've "rescued" an old photograph of G. D. TAYLOR which was taken at the L. R. Evans Studio in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's or 1880's with G. D. TAYLOR likely in his teens at the time it was taken. In addition to his name, someone has also written "Chum of 1878" and "Good Boy too" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I believe that I have been able to locate a match: George Draper TAYLOR b. 21 Oct 1859 in Scott, PA to parents Draper Uriah TAYLOR (b. 1 Aug 1831 in Greenfield, PA) and Annie Anetta MCLAUGHLIN (b. 17 Feb 1839). George married three times including, Anna Mary LANG HORTON; Margaret Grace MACBRIDE; and Stella May GOODRICH; and died in 1927.
