Thomas GOODRICH was the son of John GOODRICH, son of (Sir) Richard GOODRICH, Jr., son of Clara CON(N)YERS and Richard GOODRICH, Sr., etc.. ----------- Sorry , the only Thomas that I can find is The Bishop of Ely and Chancellor of England. His Father was William who died in 1517 in Lincolnshire. I am going to write to whoever owns Ribston Manor in Yorkshire and see if they know of any Goodrich family but I imagine they are all silently in the Churchyard ! I will let you know the result if any. I will also try and copy out my Grandfather,s notes on the Goodrich Family but do not expect it before Christmas !!! We are going to visit my Daughter in Australia (newly emigrated) and then there is our large Garden in the summer to cope with. Hi Vickye You will probably get this answer from other people, but it was Margaret Bridger. She was born c 1732 Isle of Wight, VA and died about 1810. Her parents were Joseph BRIDGER and Martha PITT. Are you descended from John? If so, which child do you descend through? Thomas Goodrich and Anne Sherwood of Chickahominy, James City Co., Virginia. Grandson of John Goodrich of England, and gggrandson of Sir Richard Goodrich of York, England. My connection to Benjamin comes through the Wilson side, as Benjamin and wife Alice had 3 children, Robert, Anne and Elizabeth, and Elizabeth married Willis Wilson June 7, 1728 in Norfolk, Virginia. Benjamin however did have the following sisters and brothers, Anne, Joseph, Katherine, Peter and Charles. I have not gotten into researching them and their families as of yet, but one of them maybe had a son by the name of Benjamin, as your dates begin in the 1800. MY Benjamin died April 29, 1710 in Virginia. If I can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact me direct at AJPSBP@AOL.com Sharon
