I recall trying to puzzle this one out. There is a connection to McVay or McVey which I cannot locate in my notes immediately and have never figured out. I have 2 unplaced Patricks in IN marriage records: Mary Patrick and Sarah Patrick who married men with the last name McVay or McVey. I can tell you what I know of Americus Patrick's family, but I think Edward/Edmund is likely a nephew or another associated relative. I am interested in figuring out this puzzle.
