Son Albert E.(39) married Miss Iva Hackworth (20)of Lake City Craighead County, Arkansas 30th day December 1918. I know nothing more about Clark & Cecelia Pruett, a common surname. Where were they? I found a Lambert and Matilda. I have Clark and Celia's daughter Mary married to A. M. Watson which produced one son, William Ancel Watson. Mary was dead before the 1900 census. Victoria Pruett married A. M. in 1901 and died 1906. Died from complications of Rhuemtoid Arhritis. At first A. M. was accused of beating her to death but the evidence didn't support that. The newspaper said D. S. was her father. I was unable to find a D. S. Pruett in the census. Victoria and A. M. had two children. Celia and Albert Leonard Watson. Then A. M. married Nellie Matthews. Albert Goodrich was living with Clark Pruett in the 1880 census of Salem Twp. Shown as grandson. His death certificate showed a Amy Goodrich as his father and a Mary Pruett as his mother. Clark and Celia had a daughter of 10 named Mary Pruett. I suppose it is possible that Clark had been married before but two daughters with the same name still unlikely. Celia was a Cude. 3. Thanks for your question. I don't recall any Harriet in my GOODRICH line. My father's one sister was HAZEL. Their father's sister were SALLIE & MARY. Their father's sisters were JANE A.B. 1828, ELIZA A.b. 1836, Margaret b. 1838, JOSAPHINE b. 1840 and MARY b. 1849. Previous generation is completely unknown. Isabella's last name is not Goodrich. Her last name is actually Goddard. Isabella Goddard is sister to my 3rd great-grandfather. Isabella was born in Georgia in 1835. She has an older sister named Clarinda Wyatt. Isabella can be found on the 1860 Missouri Census, Johnson, Washington County, with Theopolis and the children. If you look at her 5th child you will see his name is Landing. Landing was named after her sisters husband. Isabella's younger brother John (my grandfather) was born in the Arkansas Territory in 1837. Isabella named her first son after him. Isabella's mother's name is Mary. She was born in South Carolina. I have a letter written from Mary to the children in 1864. Isabella's fathers name was Elias Goddard. He was also born in Georgia. I hope this helps you. Constance S. 2. Doug, thank you for your reply. I had been having some computer problems (new laptop that's only a few months old) so we dumped the harddrive..did a system clean...and then reloaded all my software. Everything seems to be working great now. Stupid Vista!! I long to have XP back!! Anyway...I was able to get the catalog. I went to the Salisabury cemetery in Cass, MI the other day and took pictures of all the graves that are left...not very many when compared to the Sexton list that was at the local history museum. So..I have photos of Calvin and Anne Goodrichs graves if anyone is interested. Also Leonard and wife Aneliza & Warren Goodrich (Enos's brother). If anyone would like a copy of the file with all the pics and map of the graves let me know and I will be happy to send it to you via email. My line is as follows: Me: Rita Smallcombe My mother: Donna (Goodrich) Flick Gfather: Arthur Goodrich GGfather: Fred Goodrich GGGfather: John Goodrich GGGGfather: Enos Goodrich GGGGGfather: Calvin Goodrich then as far as I know back up the line to William who was one of the brothers who came here from England. I was told that in the earliest days the grave markers, if they existed at all, were made of wood, which would not survive this long. That cemetery was originally an Indian burial ground, so the English settlers would use unmarked graves in order to avoid trouble with the natives. I don't know where William-3 and Rachel are buried. I apparently did not find any monuments for them. If I get a chance I'll check the cemetery listings to see if they are identified. The catalog seems to be working OK and I haven't heard of anybody else having a problem. It's a "pdf" file - you need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is probably installed on your pc but if not can be acquired for free from adobe.com. If you're trying to open the pdf from your browser, maybe you're missing a plug-in. Try downloading the file instead of opening it (right click, and select "save as"....). Once the file is downloaded to your pc, you might have better luck opening it. Doug Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
