Hi, We are trying to find a female Goodrich. It seems she used several names which has made tracing her family very challenging. The Brock's had only females which adds to the difficult task of tracing the family tree. Vivienne Mabel Goodrich married John (Japhew) Brock - abt. 1888 in Green County, Iowa. She is sometimes listed as Vinnie or Mabel in Census records. In the 1895 census Vinnie Brock's age is 23 (Birth abt. 1872?). One of their daughters Hazel Fay Cochrane's Social Security information - Birth: 29 Dec. 1894 - Iowa. Death: 6 Jul. 1990 Mother's maiden name: Goodrich - Father's name - Brock. Mabel and her daughter's appear in the 1906 and 1911 Census in MacDonald District, Manitoba Canada Census. Wife of Thomas Goodridge (Goodrich) was Rebecca Callisan, daughter of Hiram Callisan of VA. I like to think that he went to VA and met her and took her west like so many pioneers. She survived him, along with a brother of hers, in MO until her death in 1860. I have her will naming her brother, James B. Callisan, guardian of her two minor children, my ancestor John Goodrich and little sister Mary. According to Callison researchers, James B.'s obit says he was born in Madison County, KY. So Rebecca may have been from there too, and so might Thomas. Any advice searching KY records? Which archive has the most online stuff? Thanks for your reply. Hi I have an Edward Goodrich that was born around 1852 ; and had CLARK grandparents ... They lived in Columbia, Schoharie and Greene Counties, NY In later years, Edward, Wife, Evelina and children lived in Rensselaer County, NY. Their three children were Franklin, born around 1872, Ella May born around 1875 and Arthur born around . They were born around 1878. All born in NY State. It shows the name misspelled on the 1880 census as Goodrick. Can anyone help with this family? I believe that Edward's mother was Rachel Clark and she was the daughter of Richard Clark. Richard Benjamin Clark was New York, born 1795 and married to Christina DUTCHER who was born in 1801 in New York State also. Sharon

Thomas Goodrich and Anne Sherwood of Chickahominy, James City Co., Virginia. Grandson of John Goodrich of England, and gggrandson of Sir Richard Goodrich of York, England. My connection to Benjamin comes through the Wilson side, as Benjamin and wife Alice had 3 children, Robert, Anne and Elizabeth, and Elizabeth married Willis Wilson June 7, 1728 in Norfolk, Virginia. Benjamin however did have the following sisters and brothers, Anne, Joseph, Katherine, Peter and Charles. I have not gotten into researching them and their families as of yet, but one of them maybe had a son by the name of Benjamin, as your dates begin in the 1800. MY Benjamin died April 29, 1710 in Virginia. If I can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact me direct at AJPSBP@AOL.com Sharon
