My husband's mother was Peggy Jean Goodnight, daughter of Dempsey and Olive Ruth (Hobbs) Goodnight. Dempsey was the son of James Henry Goodnight and Alvira J Gullion. It is our understanding that there is some native heritage but I can't seem to pin it down. Any help you can give me on this line of Goodnights would be greatly appreciated.
