Back in 09 I had left a post for Goodnight family. You answered the post and I don't remember what happened[health issues I'm sure] but I found it today. Please forgive me. Where do I fit you ask, well my husband of 60 years is a descendant of Susanna Goodnight married Joseph Johns, in ABT 1825 in Giles Co., TN. Their #5 child was a son, John Johns b 1833 in Union Co., IL. He married Martha Tressia Martin. Now, Susanna Goodnight was the d/o John Henry Goodnight b 1779 & Mary Margaret Condor. John Henry was the s/o Henry Goodnight & Elizabeth Chisholm. Does any of this fit your findings? My husband is the gt gt grandson of Susanna Goodnight & Joseph Johns.
