Since my inquiry I have joined fold 3 and found military records for Elijah B Smith as well as pension application files with 30 or so pages on each person that tells lots about each of them and yes I am on the right track with her!! It's been so exciting to share this with my elderly mother who knew very little about her Grandparents and Great Grandparents. She is thrilled! I'll get back to you!
