In looking over my files of Goodnight, I found where Henry Goodnight b [I think]Aug 1758 in Bedford,Rockbridge Co., VA. d in Giles Co.,TN AFT 1840. [the reason I say I think, is because this family has Henry's, John Henry, it is so hard for me to sort out] But this record shows Elizabeth Chisholm was his wife. b ABT 1754. Are you familiar with the Chisholm family ? I've not had the experience to research fast, even though I've been working on genealogy for 40 years. I am thinking Elizabeth was a d/o John Chisholm & a Cherokee wife, if this is true it will take us down a whole new road. I have this name may be a connection to Queen Quatsis b ABT 1683 in Echota, Cherokee country. I just have a lot of searching to do and try to chase it down. How is your search going?
