Antonio R. Gonzalez, 86, of Ontario died June 27, 2006. Born March 7, 1920 in San Jose Iturbide, Guanajuato, Mexico, he was an Ontario/Upland area resident for 50 years. A laborer for Master Builders, he retired after 20 years of work. He was a member of Progresista Mexicana Logia #18. Antonio is survived by his wife, Gregoria H. Gonzalez; daughters, Teresa G. Fierro, Maria Elena Aponte, Concepcion Guzman and Celia Gonzalez; sons, Enrique M. Gonzalez, Antonio Gonzalez Jr., Atanacio M. Gonzalez, Salvador M. Gonzalez and Roberto Gonzalez; stepdaughter, Maria Vasquez; stepsons, Ramiro Garcia, Eladio Garcia and Sigifredo Garcia; sister, Candida Gonzalez de Gallegos; brother, Jose Gonzalez; 34 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 2, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Stone Funeral Home, 355 E. Ninth St., Upland, CA, with Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be Monday, July 3, 2006 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 877 N. Campus Ave., Uplan! d, CA 91786.
