Elbert A. Fadallan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Calvillo Funeral Home of Lubbock. Rosary will be recited at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel today at 7 p.m. Mr. Gonzalez died Saturday, Nov. 2, 1996, in Methodist Hospital. He was born May 1, 1932, in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico. He moved to Amherst in 1975 from Friona and was a farmer and a Catholic. He married Cecilia Godina on Dec. 30, 1956, in Muzquiz. Other survivors include six other sons, Juan Gonzalez of Fort Worth, Joe, Oto and Javier Gonzalez, all of Amarillo, and Tim and Oscar Gonzalez, both of Amherst; two daughters, Leticia Garza of Lubbock and Maria Tuerina of Plano; two brothers, Runaldo and Cuauthemoc Gonzalez, both of Mexico; and one sister, Martina Lopez of Mexico.
