Copyright 2004. All rights reserved. Frances V. Gonzalez 1917-2004 Frances V. Gonzalez, 86, of Cheyenne died June 10 at her home on Dey Avenue in Cheyenne. She was born June 25, 1917, in Hastings, Neb., and had lived here since 1935. She married James P. Gonzalez in Sidney, Neb., in 1936. With her husband, she was owner and manager of Jim's Electric until 1972. She worked as a home health care worker until her retirement. She is survived by four daughters, Peggy Rosentreter, Jacqueline Gonzalez and Michelle Allen, all of Cheyenne, and Patricia Trujillo of Baltimore; a brother, William Zeiler of Omaha, Neb.; three sisters, Katherine Blake of San Diego, Virginia Turner of Lake Elsinore, Calif., and Mary Phillips of Portland, Ore.; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Gonzalez; her parents, Catherine and Henry Zeiler; three brothers, Arthur Zeiler, Morris Zeiler and Robert Zeiler; and two sisters, Ruth Blake and Dorothy Pflug. Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes. Friends may contribute to the Boys and Girls Club of Cheyenne. Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are. This is here as a lasting memorial for Mrs. Gonzalez.

En 1884 fue acusado de desfalco y hubo una investigacion (ordenada por el gobernador) y luego una subasta (pedi copias del revolu) pues parece que cuando el (y su hijo Ulises Rios Muniz, padre de Ana Rios Rubio) estaban en el gobierno municipal no eran muy dados de pagar sus contribuciones. Bueno, en 1856, Esteban renuncia a la plaza de sindico-procurador por 1ra vez diciendo que habia estado en el gobierno del pueblo desde 1846 "por mi adhesion a los superiores actos del gobierno y celo al bien y ornato publico" pero que dejaba la plaza por el fallecimiento de su esposa (nuestra tatara tatara) y deudas "hoy abrumado al freno que me liga de mi familia y acreencias, sensible a las reflecciones amargas de un malestar que se me agrapa?, a mi memoria, reverementemente..."
