Gonzales, 90, of Chula Vista died Wednesday. He was born in Texas and was a hod carrier in the construction industry. Survivors include his daughters, Laura Alcantar, Cathy Biggs, Phyllis Lopez, Sally Mapula and Maria Tapia; four stepsons; two sisters; two brothers; 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Viewing: 3 to 8 p.m. today, Berge-Roberts Mortuary, 607 National City Blvd., National City. Services: 9 a.m. tomorrow, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1770 Kearney Ave., San Diego. Interment: immediately following services, Greenwood Memorial Park, Interstate 805 and Imperial Avenue, San Diego. Arrangements: Berge-Roberts Mortuary.
