She is survived by her daughters, Irma Gonzales of Albuquerque and Lupe Contreras and husband Dennis of Concord, CA; sons, Daniel Gonzales, Andrew Gonzales, Robert Gonzales and wife Yvonne, Ralph Gonzales and wife Cindy, Rubin Gonzales, and Rick Gonzales and wife Denise, all of Albuquerque; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister; and numerous brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Gonzales; and son, Ray Gonzales. Rafaela was a loving mother, had a big heart, and always spoke good of everyone. Rosary will be recited Friday, January 2, 2004, 5:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel with Deacon Terry Palmer reciting. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 3, 2004, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette with Father Tom Zotter, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual NE.
