Is there a relative 'out here' ? He went by the name BOB. He appears to have been career Navy. I have letters that he wrote. They are from 1965 - 1967. Most are postmarked the USS INDEPENDENCE. He traveled all over the world ( the Navy does that, doesn't it? :-) ) I have found one ALBERT B in the SS Death Index. I am not sure if it is 'him'. ALBERT B GONZALES BORN: 10 Sep 1916 DIED: 25 Jan 1994 (Albuquerque, Bernalillo, NM) The above Albert would have been 40 when the letters were written.
