He received three overseas Service bars, Asiatic-Pacific with one bronze battle star, good conduct medal, AFRM 3rd award and Texas Faithful Service medal of merit Predeceased by son, Felix Gonzales Jr, daughter Gloria Felix Gonzales, two brothers, Jeronimo Gonzales Jr and Antonio Gonzales;sister, Maria Moreles Castaneda and three parents. Survived by wife of 58 years, Hortence G Gonzales;two daughters, Hortensia G Magallanez and Sonja G and husband Anthony Villalobos; sister, Porfrlia Castenada; brothers, Lucio GOnzales; seven grandchildren.
