He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, seeing action at the Battles of Ardennes and throughout northern France. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bences and Miguel Gonzales. He is survived by his wife, Maria Beatrice Gonzales; children, Bernice Todd and husband Roger of Seattle, Maria Bush and husband Jack of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Corine Espinoza and husband Harold of Española, Felix Floyd Gonzales and wife Libby of Taos, Peggy Blake and husband Rick of Colorado Springs, Colo., Geri Mills and husband Donald of Arroyo Hondo, Herman Gonzales and wife Diana of Arroyo Hondo and Neomi Allen and husband Tom of Bosque Farms; 17 grandchildren; sisters, Veloniz Martinez and husband Manuel of Arroyo Hondo, Evila Withrow and husband Ray and Tina Arellano of Pueblo, Colo.; and many other relatives.
