I know my uncle was very interested in his family genealogy. We love and miss you greatly. Your double niece, Aveli Wednesday, April 7, 2004 Ivis I. Gonzales, age 87, died Monday, April 5, 2004, while surrounded by his loving family. Ivis was born in San Antonio, New Mexico to the Late Juan Cristobal and Ana Maria Miera Gonzales. He was a resident of Alburquerque and a parishioner of St. Josph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church. Ivis is survived by his wife of 67 years, Maria Romero Gonzales; his four daughters, Dina Wieland and husband, Arlan; Sylvia Anaya and husband Tony; Merlinda Turner and husband Terry; and Viola Montano and husband Pat; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Mr. Gonzales will lie in state Wednesday, April 7, 2004 from 5:00pm to 6:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Church. A rosary will be recited at 6:oo pm. A communion service will be conducted Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Church and officiated by Fr. Frank Prieto. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetary, Alburquerque. Pallbearers will be Raph Garcia, Donnie Garcia, Terry Turner, Eric Chavez, Pat Montano, and Tony Anaya. Honorary Pallbearers will be Morgan Wilson, Shantel C. Turner,! Mark Wieland, Arland Wieland and Johnny Duran. Funeral Services provided by Alameda Mortuary, Alburquerque, New Mexico.
