I knew they were born in Kinney County, as were their two known daughters, so I expected that they were married and buried in Kinney as well. But there it is. Nestor Gonzales married Guadaulpe Perez on February 3rd, 1875 in Wilson. Their duaghters, Catarina was born in 1877, and my great grandmother, Antonia, in 1879, both in Brackettville. Of course I want to dig up whatever other information there might be if someone on the ground there will give me a hand. I'm in Los Angeles, California. There's another marriage listed for Nestor Gonzales, to an Antonia Padilla on August 18, 1895 in El Paso. I'm not sure it is the same man, but if it is it helps verify certain data. I've found possible marriages for both daughters in Brackettville, both in 1895, so that would be quie a coincidence if all three were married in the same year. All I know is she married Nestor Gonzalez in Brackettville, Texas. They were both born in 1855 in Brackettville. They had my great grand aunt Catarina in 1877, and my great grandmother Antonia in 1879, both also in Brackettville, or what would become Brackettville. All other sources of information have been exhausted. There are no church records that I can find, nor civil records. Antonia was an atheist and illiterate, so there is virtually no trace of her except for her death certificate and burial. I can't find a marriage record...birth..divorce... In the 1860 US Census for El Salitre, San Miguel Co., she and Ynocencio used the surname GONZALES. Ynocencio continued to use the Gonzales surname in later US Censuses. Hello List, This is my HUGE Brickwall and need some assistance or any suggestions on what I should do ??? 1. My g g grandparents were both born in Mexico (not sure where). Would like to know how to find out where in Mexico. They were both born in 1850's. I would like to find their birth certificate but don't know where to write for it. I have a death record on my g g grandmother but it doesn't show where in Mexico she was born in or her parents names. I would also like to find out who their parents are. A death record can not be found for my g g grandfather. They both died in Uvalde, Texas. They were also married in Uvalde, Texas. Can't find a marriage record on them either. 2. My g g grandmother was married to somone prior to my g g grandfather by the last name of FLORES. I do not have his 1st name. They had 2 or 3 children from this marriage but haven't been able to find their birth/death certificates (believe that they were born in Uvalde, Texas approx 1870's). Not sure if this "Mr. Flores" died in Uvalde. I have contacted the church, funeral home, city cemetery, city hall but no records can be found, not even their burials. No family members remember names. I am stuck, not sure where I can go from here. I did find them in different census lists, but no clues as to who their parents are, or Mr. Flores's first name. I feel to go on further with my search, I need to find out my g g grandparent's names and my g g grandmother's first husbands name.
