My Great-Grandfather's name was Pedro Gonzales and his wife's name was Juanita, my Grandfather was Louis Garcia Gonzales and my Grandmother was Petra Melchor Gonzales. My dad was Louis M. Gonzales and he was born in Lincoln, Texas in 1940. As far as still having relative living in Gonzales, I'm not sure, I will need to make some calls to see, my Uncle Gene that used to live there moved to La Grange, Tx and my Uncle Cisco lives in Houston. He was from the Socorro County, New Mexico area. He was in his 80's and recently died last year. He was married to Evarista and they had children, who I dont remember their names. The only one I can remember is Catherine. Catherine moved to Oaklahoma and took Emileano with him. He died there. Evarista died in California several years ago.

The only one of these siblings that are still living is Frank. He lives in Albuquerque. Toby was my husbands grandfather. He passed away in 2002. He told me once that his brothers Ramon and Marcell signed up to go fighting in Europe during WW II. Marcell was under age and his mother refused to sign for him.
