My mother gave me the following information about my father: Father - I think your dad was a junior and his dad was also named Tony. Mother - Sarah Gonzales Brother - Jerry Gonzales Sisters - Gloria Gonzales married to Smokey who was a policeman or sheriff in La Puente or Downey California Suzie or Susan Gonzales who was the youngest daughter. Have just started working on family tree. The only son of Lucario and Fransesquita Gonzales (Joe) is now dead. His wife is still living in CA and keeps in touch with my mother. The only living son of Eutimia, Pete Valdez, is still living here in Albuquerque. Both of Eutimia's daughters, Anita Sekot and Josephine Trujillo have died. But their children are living in Albuq. My mother (age 82) and her older brother Gilbert, age 90, are the only surviving children of Albina and Vincent Gonzales. Would love to hear from you. Appears as though we are cousins. My gg grandmother Francisca Gonzales b. 1849 was dtr of Luis Gonzales, grdtr Juan Francisco Gonzales (major domo Santa Cruz Mission). Her mother was Adelayda Castro, dtr. of Raphael Castro. Adelayda died when Francisca was 1 year old, apparently in childbirth, and for a time, it seems Luis fell off the map. I have recently acquired information the Luis remarried at least two more times and eventually had 9 children before he died. I would very much like to find out more information about Luis and his children. In 1900, I have one of his dtrs living with Francisca and her husband, John Melville. This is a very peculiar family and have been difficult to locate. Both the Gonzales' and the Castros are related to the founding familie of California, and I would like to find more branches of this tree. _________________________________________________________________ Dont just search.
