I haven't done much on that side, but other family members have. Thay have a family reunion, and had one last year in Tucumcari, nm. One of the people yoi could contact would be Samuel Hernandez at samlori@msn.com I hope this e-mail address is correct still. There was another family member by the last name of "Durbis", I think she had a family tree site, and I think Samuel might have that info. The family line is Jose and Domingo Montoya- Gonzales, and their children, Floriana, Juanita, Maria, Jose Jr, Pedre, Delfido. Also, Paula Wakefield has been working on the Tree. Her phone # is 1-602-504-8683, the last I heard, she wasn't on line. Samuel Hernandez is her uncle. I would probably try him first, as Paula can talk your ear off. She's really sweet, but reminds me of my sister, and justs talks and talks. Paula lives in Phoenix,Az. Let me know if you want her address. Yvette

He was my father's brother. I am not sure when he died. I don't think we are referring to the same Jose. As far as I know, he only had one wife named Gertrudes. The information I have on my father's family is as follows: Pablo Gonzales married Maxima Losoya. They came from the state of Coahuila, Mexico and settled in Gonzales, Texas around 1908. They had 16 children one of which was Jose and Jesus (my father). Do you know where your Gonzales line came from? Who know... there may be a connection. Anxious for a reply.
