I too have/had family there. I also have family in Victoria, Texas. Their surname being Sepuveda. The Sepulveda family at one time lived in Gonzales, Texas too. Copyright 2003. All rights reserved. Raymond Gonzales 1939-2003 Raymond Gonzales, 64, of Cheyenne died July 27 at United Medical Center-West. He was born July 22, 1939, in Loveland, Colo., and had lived here most of his life. Mr. Gonzales was a janitor for Laramie County School District 1. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mr. Gonzales is survived by his wife, Orlina Gonzales of Cheyenne; two sons, Ricky Gonzales and Adam Gonzales, both of Cheyenne; a daughter, Ruby Pacheco of Cheyenne; three brothers, Pete Gonzales of Cheyenne and John Gonzales and Davey Gonzales both of Greeley, Colo.; two sisters, Viola Solis of Cheyenne, and Vena Fernandez of New Mexico; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Anthony Gonzales on Nov. 6, 1997, and Christopher Gonzales on Sept. 30, 2002; and his parents, John and Sally Gonzales. Vigil for the Deceased will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes. Funeral Liturgy will be 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ray Moss as the Celebrant. Interment will be in Olivet Cemetery. Friends may contribute to Raymond Gonzales Memorial Fund in care of 502 East Fourth St., Cheyenne, WY 82007. I am referring to the JMG from Gonzales, LA that was a Captian in Company A of Ogden's Cavalry regiment during the Civil War. He had eight children named Pamela, Josephine, Joseph, Robert E. He was born in 1899 in Taiping Malaysia. He had 2 brothers and 2 sisters all of whom were born in the Phillipines. He has a sister named Matilda ?? Emiliano was the only sibling in his family who was born in Malaysia where he lived and married Martina Alabastro and had 5 children. He later moved and lived in Singapore where he played clarinet in a band. If anyone has any info re his family I would greatly appreciate some help in enlarging this part of the family tree. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/odZ.2ACIB/473 Message Board Post: looking for info on lalo (isidoro) and henrietta garcia gonzales. i have info that isidoro was born in mexico and immigrated to texas as a teen. he married henrietta garcia in the 1920's. they had 6 children including alfredo, armando, arturo, alfonzo, henrietta and one other son beginning with the letter a. alfredo was born in 1926 and was a middle child. i believe i have found isidoro in the 1920 caldwell county texas census at 17 years old and immigrating in 1915 from mexico. he was living with his parents and siblings. alfredo married anamaria morazan in the late 1940's in austin texas where she died in 1992. i have gotten as much info as i could from alfredo regarding his parents and his siblings but nothing beyond them. any help or leads would be appreciated.
