Bobby served in the 25th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army in Vietnam in 1966 with an Honorable Discharge in 1970. Survivors include his wife Ann, and son James Paul, six brothers: Mike, Danny, David, Charlie, Paul, Abe; and six sisters: Queta, Betty, Esther, Jay, Eve, and Sarah. His name, of course is Joseph Gonzales. Our mother is Margaret Louise(a?) Gonzales. We also have a brother named Christopher. However, he would have a different last name. When I was 1 my mother moved to the Fort Worth/ Dallas area, where she met Christopher's father. My mother had me when she was 17, I believe. She should be 44 or 45 now. I have not seen my mother in like 8 years. Mainly, I wish to see the brother, or brothers, I have never seen.

He served in the U.S. Navy. He was an employee of the Melton Ranch from 1960 until 2003, when he retired as ranch manager and continued to live at his home on the ranch. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and playing cards with his grandchildren. A lifelong Catholic, he was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonafacio and Sofia Gonzales; wife, Augustina Gonzales; sisters and brothers, Frances Maese, Efren G. Pena, Ramona G. Duran, Pedro Gonzales, Juan Bautista Gonzales, Jose Maurilio Gonzales, Eloisa G. Lovato and Balbina G. Maldonado. He is survived by his children, Primitivo J. Gonzales and wife Cruzita of Albuquerque, Antonio Gonzales and wife Annabelle, Marie Dolores Ortiz, Julia Gonzales and Ruben Parra, Albert Gonzales Jr., Jennie Lou Vigil and Estevan Gonzales and friend Annette, all of Las Vegas, N.M., and Anna Ortiz and husband Isaias of Ft. Henry ``Hank ' ' Gonzales, a native San Diegan and resident of Clairemont, passed away on January 30, 2004. He was 78. Hank is survived by one sister, Mary Elvira Gonzalez of Encanto, one son, Stephen of National City; two daughters, Monica Reinicke and Gayla Brown of San Diego, and granddaughter Denise Reinicke of San Diego. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was the widow of Carmen Marin, whom he was married to for 51 years. Born on October 21, 1925, Hank graduated from San Diego High School in 1944. Hank was in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946, serving in World War II as a member of the 612th Field Artillery Battalion. He married Carmen in July 1948. In 1951, Hank began a long career in the civil service, where he worked in the Transportation Division at the 32nd Street Naval Station. In July 1963, Hank received the distinct honor of becoming a ``plank owner ' ' in the forming of the Navy Public Works Center. While at th! e PWC, he led the division ' s Federal Youth Summer Employment Program, which enabled high school students to gain real-world experience in mechanics. In 1978, he was named Motor Vehicle Operator General Foreman. After 35 years, he retired in 1984. Hank enjoyed photography, taking his family on camping trips, and watching Charger football and Padres baseball games. An avid dog lover, he bred and raised poodles, boxers, and beagles. He will be truly missed. A Viewing was held Monday, February 2. A Memorial and Graveside service will occur on Tuesday, February 3, at 2 p.m., at El Camino Memorial Park in Sorrento Valley.
