Hi Diane and List Members: If you haven't worked on your Kent Goldfinch line for a while it might be a good time to look for any missing information. Familysearch.org has added a lot of records for Kent. As you may remember the old IGI had very few Kent entries especially for East Kent. Parish registers from the Canterbury Archives are soon to appear on Findmypast in a browseable format (not indexed). Being able to view scanned images of the actual parish registers will be great. If you don't have a subscription for Findmypast you can use it for free at any LDS Family History Centre. Note also that Familysearch has added Kent Wills but apparently you can only view many of Will images at a Family History Centre. The Rochester Diocese is viewable on your home computer. Ancestry.com has added the Tyler Collection which contains extractions for some surnames from Kent Parish Registers, Monumental Inscriptions, Wills, etc. These have been indexed. If you don't have an Ancestry.com subscription you can use it for free at any LDS Family History Centre or possibly at your local library. Ancestry.com also has a lot of London parish registers for those Goldfinch families who moved into London. Many of these are now indexed making it easier to search for missing baptisms, etc. Viewing the actual parish register provides more info than what appears in the IGI or other indexes. Occupation and address are often given which can help sort out the various families. Happy hunting.
